The BLX2/B58 Handheld Wireless Microphone Transmitter works with BLX Wireless Systems.
The BLX2 handheld transmitter with BETA58A capsule is a precision-engineered dynamic vocal microphone for professional sound reinforcement. With it you can get up to 14 hours of continuous use with 2 AA batteries (included) and an operating range of 100 m.
The Shure BLX2 / B58 is a handheld wireless microphone transmitter compatible with BLX series receivers. It comes equipped with a built-in Beta 58A dynamic capsule optimized for crisp, present vocals with a bright midrange and bass roll to control the proximity effect. The capsule features a neodymium magnet for increased sensitivity and high performance, as well as a tight supercardioid polar pattern that greatly minimizes background noise and feedback. The dent-resistant steel mesh grille resists wear and abuse. The built-in pop filter reduces unwanted wind and breath noise for clear, intelligible speech.
With an ergonomic and lightweight design, the BLX2 / B58 is comfortable to hold. Provides up to 14 hours of continuous use with the two included AA batteries, in a range of up to 300 ‘. Group and channel selection buttons allow quick and easy frequency matching with the receiver.
Other features include an easily accessible on / off button, adjustable gain control, and a black identification cap. The WA621 Color Identification Cap Kit containing assorted color caps is available as an optional accessory.
