Shure A400MB Microflex Mute Button and Adapter
The Shure A400MB mute button accessory adds local or remote mute control via a programmable button for use with the Microflex MX395-LED low profile boundary microphones and MX400SMP-compatible modular gooseneck microphones (MX405/MX410/MX415). With an unobtrusive design ideal for surface mounting into boardroom tables, the A400MB adapter converts the 5-pin XLR output to a standard block connector for easy, no solder termination and hassle-free installation.

Improve your meetings and conferences with the Shure A400MB Microflex Mute Button and Adapter, which provides easy-to-locate mute functionality for surface-mount conference microphones. The touch-sensitive mute button fits washer-style between the microphone and the table surface to deliver a low-profile solution that works for MX395-LED boundary mics as well as the MX405, MX410, and MX415 gooseneck microphones.
The versatile design features a programmable switch that can be set for latched or momentary (push-to-talk/mute) modes. When used with multiple microphones, the A400MB can be set to local or remote mute control, allowing a user to simply mute their own mic or mute every mic in the room at the touch of a button.
Installation is easy; the A400MB adapts the 5-pin mini XLR connector to a standard block connector with no soldering necessary. The mute button fits in tables that are between 0.59 to 1.18 inches thick. Separately available accessories allow you to mount the button further from the microphone and to interface with conferencing apps including Teams and Zoom.
