MPS-482HP: COMPACT AND COST-EFFECTIVE
The MPS-482HP powers two loudspeakers and its applications include corporate systems, hospitality suites, home theatre, and retail. It pairs perfectly with any of Meyer Sound’s IntelligentDC loudspeakers, including the MM‑4XP, UP-4XP and UP‑4slim models, or in larger installations alongside MPS-488HP units.
MPS-488HP and MPS-482HP are the central stations of your Meyer Sound system’s IntelligentDC technology, which combines the sonic superiority of self-powered loudspeakers with the installation ease of low-voltage systems by delivering balanced audio and DC power together over composite cables. Power up to eight loudspeakers with MPS-488HP, and up to two loudspeakers with MPS-482HP.
MPS-488HP: FOR LARGE-SCALE SYSTEMS
MPS-488HP routes DC power and balanced audio to up to eight loudspeakers. Supply audio and power signals through a single Phoenix 5‑pin connector. For added flexibility, toggle switches route inputs to one or more channel outputs.
MPS-482HP: WHEN LESS IS MORE
MPS-482HP sends power and audio to two speakers, for IntelligentDC systems with limited loudspeaker requirements or to supplement systems that fall between multiples of eight. Its silent, fanless operation means it can share the same acoustic space as your loudspeakers, and mounting options let you install it in a rack or remotely on a wall, ceiling, or other surface.
